Today's Updates
It is our goal that EVERY student have access to a device and the Internet so they can engage in learning. We know it's hard if there's only one device in your home, so if you need to borrow so everyone can work, please come by Grab and Go on Monday or Thursday--we'll have Chromebooks to loan!

Remote Learning--Getting Work to Us
I've gotten great questions about what families should do with the work their children are completing.
Please feel free to do any of the following:
*Send emails to your teacher(s) with student work and pictures of work.
*Ask your children to upload or respond using the platform your teachers have using.
*Drop off hard copies of work at Grab and Go on Thursday--we will get the work to your teacher(s)!

Starting next week, we will launch our Remote Learning 2.0 plan, which will add digital learning to choice menus. I'll have more details for you on this later this week, so don't worry---we'll make it very clear and easy to use!!!

Remember, here's your focus for this week.
Week of March 30
Please focus the Remote Learning choice menu you got in the mail last week.
Teachers are available to give feedback, answer questions, and connect with you and your children.
Teachers may also push out other things to try...please take advantage of these if you can!
We are here to help...and please DO NOT put too much pressure on yourself or your children. This is new for all of us! 💓

Need Books?
The Little Free Libraries have been stocked!!!  Thank you, Mrs. Cwaik!
Stanton students can request books for check out by looking through Destiny Quest and Mrs. Cwiak can make the books available for pickups on Mon/Thurs mornings at Grab and Go!
We have lots of books at Grab and Go ready to hand out! Thank you, Ms. Kim and PTA!

This Week's FUN Events

We have decided to plan a parade for our D114 kids!
Wednesday, April 1
Staff will meet at Stanton at 2:15
Parade starts at 2:30
Parade ends at Lotus

The parade route is linked here and attached to today's email. Please know that these times are approximate...we'll be doing this with 40+ cars, so times are all flexible. But...don't worry...we'll get there!

Please remember that we need be practicing social distancing during this parade, so staff will wave and say hello from their cars, but we can't get out to talk, give high fives, or hugs. We are sure looking forward to when we CAN do all this again!!!!

AND...
To welcome everyone back from Spring Break, we're starting our first VIRTUAL SPIRIT WEEK! It was a fabulous Make It Monday--click here to see a gallery of pictures I got!
Have a fabulous Team Tuesday!!!

Please share pictures with your child's teacher(s) and me!
Thanks to Mrs. Lorenz at Lotus for putting this together. We'll be doing Spirit Weeks every week until we are all back together!!!!

GRAB AND GO
We are now doing Grab and Go on Monday and Thursday mornings ONLY from 7:30-10:00 at Stanton. You can grab "3 for Me" and everything else you need but we also limit how many staff members need to come in and how often we are asking families to come to school.
