Today's Updates

This sums it up...

8th Graders---We Need You!!!
The PTA is looking for Class of 2020 t-shirt designs. If your 8th grader is interested in submitting a design for their class t-shirt, please email it to pta@foxlake114.org.  Designs must be submitted by Monday, May 4.

Next week is Staff Appreciation Week, and here's a request from our FABULOUS PTA...

THE PTA NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Teacher Appreciation Week will be celebrated next week, May 4th-8th.  Due to the school closure, our traditional staff luncheon has been cancelled.

If you would like to participate, we are asking for letters, pictures, videos, etc. to be sent to your child's teacher(s) to show appreciation.  Don't forget to include support staff and specials/exploratory teachers.

You can send your tokens of appreciation directly to the teacher, or email pta@foxlake114.org and we will ensure that they are delivered.

This simple gesture will go such a long way with our hardworking staff.  We hope you can participate!

Thank you!

C was for Chalk...

D is for DANCE!

Thanks to Mrs. Lorenz at Lotus for putting this together.

Ongoing Updates
GRAB AND GO
We are now doing Grab and Go on Monday and Thursday mornings ONLY from 7:30-10:00 at Stanton. You can grab "3 for Me" and everything else you need but we also limit how many staff members need to come in and how often we are asking families to come to school. You can still get Chromebooks, school supplies, books, and more. Social distancing is KEY to us getting back to normal!

It is our goal that EVERY student have access to a device and the Internet so they can engage in learning. We know it's hard if there's only one device in your home, so if you need to borrow so everyone can work, please come by Grab and Go on Mondays or Thursdays--we'll have Chromebooks to loan!

IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS A BOOK TO READ...

Mackin is an online free library of books and ebooks, and we have these books until the end of the year!

Family Survey
Knowing the we are not coming back together face to face for the rest of the year, we'd like to know how our families are doing.

I'd sure appreciate it if you'd take just a few minutes to complete this survey TODAY. I'll post it every day to remind you, and the purpose is for us to be better able to support our families during the extended closure. Thanks in advance for giving your 2 cents! 🙂 Thanks to those of you who already completed the survey!!!!
