Today's Updates
While today marks the end of Quarter 3, please know that we will NOT be closing out grades or sending home report cards at this time. There are still so many questions about what will happen next and we left everything in such a rush, we want to just hold off for a bit. More to come on this!
Last night, it was announced that Chicago Public Schools will now be closed through April 20. Our plan has not changed yet---but you can trust that I will continue to keep you posted.
If/when the closure goes longer, we will make more remote learning work available. The teachers are doing an amazing job thinking ahead on this, and we'll have more details soon. However, next week is SPRING BREAK, so no formal work will be sent home. However, I'll still update you daily...I like staying connected, and I hope you do, too. 💖
If your family needs a device for remote learning, we still have Chromebooks available for check out at Stanton!
Also--we will keep serving Grab and Go meals during Spring Break--still 7:30-9:00 AM daily at both Lotus and Stanton with the "3 for Me" option every day to limit how many times you have to come pick up.
And...if you want a laugh...Mr. Sefcik is trying to learn TikTok so see his first video--he's @principalnotnats or use the code below:
