Today's Updates

Remote Learning

I just can't seem to get my mind around the fact that we won't be back face-to-face this year. My heart is just broken for everyone. A special spot is there for our amazing 8th graders, who should have been having so much fun with end of the year fun to wrap up their D114 time before heading to Grant. BUT...don't you worry---we're making plans for ALL OUR KIDS for ways to make the end of the year fun while we all keep on keeping on!

A friend sent this to me on Friday, and it's all over Facebook. You may have already seen it, but in case you haven't...or just to let you know our D114 family feels this way...check it out...
Your kids ARE right where they need to be, and we'll support you in this journey. We are so grateful for you, and I can't say enough positive things about our D114 staff. Together, we WILL make the best of this.

This Week's Spirit Week

Here are this week's Spirit Days!!!!
Can't wait to see your artwork for Make It Monday!
Thanks to Mrs. Lorenz at Lotus for putting this together. We'll be doing Spirit Weeks every week until we are all back together!!!!

Ongoing Updates
GRAB AND GO
We are now doing Grab and Go on Monday and Thursday mornings ONLY from 7:30-10:00 at Stanton. You can grab "3 for Me" and everything else you need but we also limit how many staff members need to come in and how often we are asking families to come to school. You can still get Chromebooks, school supplies, books, and more. Social distancing is KEY to us getting back to normal!

It is our goal that EVERY student have access to a device and the Internet so they can engage in learning. We know it's hard if there's only one device in your home, so if you need to borrow so everyone can work, please come by Grab and Go on Mondays or Thursdays--we'll have Chromebooks to loan!

IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS A BOOK TO READ...
