Today's Updates

Go to www.d114.org !!! :)
All key information and details about materials pick up schedules, 8th grade promotion, and registration is on the main page of the D114 website. Please check it out! THANKS!

PTA Wants to Hear From YOU!
Please take a moment to complete this brief survey from our fabulous PTA. They are looking for input from YOU on how to plan for next year! The survey will be open through May 22!

Materials Pick Up/Drop Off Schedules
Please see information on all pick up schedules at www.d114.org

We can ONLY hand out materials to families according to the schedules posted. Please do not come on day that does not match your bus route...we are organizing for one day at a time for efficient and safe pick up.

Families can pick up student belongings, pictures, yearbooks, and 8th graders' caps and gowns.

Yearbooks will be available for purchase if you didn't prepay, as well.
They will be sold first come, first served.
Lotus yearbooks cost $20, and Stanton yearbooks cost $17.

MATERIALS PICK UP FOR LOTUS STUDENTS WHO RIDE BUSES 7, 97, and 98, Parent Pick Up or After School Care IS TODAY (FRIDAY) AT LOTUS FROM 8:00-11:00 AM!

MATERIALS PICK UP FOR LOTUS STUDENTS WHOSE FAMILIES COULD NOT PICK UP DURING THE DAY IS TUESDAY (MAY 19) FROM 5:00-7:00 PM!

If you are unable to pick up at the date and time for your bus route, we will deliver to bus stops using busses on May 27 (Lotus routes) and May 28 (Stanton routes). More information coming soon, but plan on the buses running their normal AM routes and dropping off materials by bus stop.
Any uncollected items will then be taken to Stanton for pick up at Grab and Go on Mondays or Thursdays.

Ongoing Updates
GRAB AND GO
We are now doing Grab and Go on Monday and Thursday mornings ONLY from 7:30-10:00 at Stanton. You can grab "3 for Me" and everything else you need but we also limit how many staff members need to come in and how often we are asking families to come to school. You can still get Chromebooks, school supplies, books, and more. Social distancing is KEY to us getting back to normal! We will be running Grab and Go through the summer to help support our families during this difficult time.

It is our goal that EVERY student have access to a device and the Internet so they can engage in learning. We know it's hard if there's only one device in your home, so if you need to borrow so everyone can work, please come by Grab and Go on Mondays or Thursdays--we'll have Chromebooks to loan!

If You Are Struggling...
Illinois Department of Human Services’ Mental Health Division has launched a free-of-charge emotional support text line, Call4Calm, for Illinois residents experiencing stress and mental health issues related to COVID-19. Individuals who would like to speak with a mental health professional can text “TALK” to 5-5-2-0-2-0, or for Spanish, “HABLAR” to the same number: 5-5-2-0-2-0.
Call4Calm is free to use, and individuals will remain anonymous. Once a resident sends a text to the hotline, within 24 hours they will receive a call from a counselor employed by a local community mental health center to provide support.
Individuals can also text 5-5-2-0-2-0, with keywords such as “unemployment” or “food” or “shelter” and will receive information on how to navigate and access supports and services.
