Today's Updates

Bus Route Drop Off Plans
For all student supplies NOT already picked up...

Drivers will run Stanton morning routes TOMORROW MORNING and will drop off student materials to those kids/families at the stops. Drivers will aim to be at stops at the normal morning pick up time.

Families should remember social distancing practices during these drop offs!

All materials not delivered will be brought back to Stanton for pick up at Grab and Go in the future.

THANK YOU to our Transportation Team for making this happen and for all the volunteers jumping on route to assist!!!!

8th grade Promotion Ceremony & Dance | Coakley Middle School

Chromebook, Library Book, and Novel Drop Offs
All Chromebooks (with their chargers), all library books (both schools) and any novels that were mailed out (6th and 8th grade) need to be returned the week of June 1. We'll be open at Stanton DAILY from 10:00AM- 12:00PM for drop off. You'll just hand us the materials, and we'll grab them right from you.

8th Grade Class T-Shirts
Because they cannot contribute to the dance this year, the PTA will be purchasing a t-shirt for each 8th grade student at Stanton! Therefore, you DO NOT need to use the link to purchase one for your child.
If you'd like to order an additional 8th grade class t-shirt, please use this link. Thanks to the PTA for setting this up! Order deadline is TODAY at 11:59PM.

The t-shirts were designed by Stanton's very own 8th grade student, Allie Babcock!

Go to www.d114.org !!! :)
All key information and details about materials pick up schedules, 8th grade promotion, and registration is on the main page of the D114 website. Please check it out! THANKS!

D114 Detectives Update!
Things to Think About for the Future of Work - CloudAve

A HUGE shout out to Ben Flory, Sophia Carr, and Kelsie Simmons for completing Thursday's Growth Mindset Escape Room with us! This was the most difficult challenge yet but we worked as a team and persevered! Thank you to Mrs. Tardio Weber for being a part of our team!

Since this is our last week of school and you have a fun week ahead of you, we will not be posting any new challenges this week. However, you are still invited to try any of the mysteries that have already been shared.

As always, thank you for all you do and stay tuned for more opportunities to stretch your brain this summer!

If You Are Struggling...
Illinois Department of Human Services’ Mental Health Division has launched a free-of-charge emotional support text line, Call4Calm, for Illinois residents experiencing stress and mental health issues related to COVID-19. Individuals who would like to speak with a mental health professional can text “TALK” to 5-5-2-0-2-0, or for Spanish, “HABLAR” to the same number: 5-5-2-0-2-0.
Call4Calm is free to use, and individuals will remain anonymous. Once a resident sends a text to the hotline, within 24 hours they will receive a call from a counselor employed by a local community mental health center to provide support.
Individuals can also text 5-5-2-0-2-0, with keywords such as “unemployment” or “food” or “shelter” and will receive information on how to navigate and access supports and services.
