November 16 Family Update

We are very, very excited to welcome a few of our most needy students back on site this week. While we would LOVE to have even more back with us, the COVID data just doesn't allow it at this point. I'll have updates for you next week on plans, but...given the data trends...I can't expect that we will be able to open more fully for awhile. However, we will monitor the data and I will ALWAYS keep you updated.

Upcoming Key Dates:

11/17--November Board of Education meeting
11/19--Lotus Virtual Family Reading Night
11/23--Lotus Early Release/Conferences, PreK remote only day, normal day at Stanton
11/24--Lotus Conferences, normal day at Stanton
11/25--Non Attendance Day
11/26--THANKSGIVING
11/27--District Closed---District Holiday

A note from our PTA...

Dear D114 Families,

On behalf of the PTA, we would like to introduce to you a new virtual event taking place during this holiday season, the Virtual Holiday Basket Auction. This event will take place on Facebook from December 13th to December 19th, 2020.   We hope you will decide to participate in this year's new event with us whether it is donating a holiday basket or bidding on your favorite holiday basket. We are looking for new innovative ways to raise money for our organization while keeping everyone safe and healthy during this pivotal time. We hope you can join us! The more the merrier.

The attached document provides more detailed information about the event as well as the application form if you are interested in creating a basket to donate or make a fund donation.

All further information, details and updated event information will be on the event page. You can click here to go to the event. >  D114 PTA Virtual Holiday Basket Auction

Please know that we truly cannot wait to welcome our students back when our COVID data improves. We miss them all terribly!

Please do your part all the time to help bring the data down:
1. Wear your mask.
2. Wash your hands.
3. Watch your distance--stay 6 feet apart from others.
