Hi, D114 Families! Happy Monday! I hope you had a truly wonderful Winter Break and that 2021 is off to a fabulous start. I know I'm sure counting on a happier, healthier year for us all!
As we launch a new year, we are also super excited to launch the Hybrid Plan in full. As you know, families may still opt for remote learning, but we are sure excited to get as many kids back onsite as we safely can over the next couple of weeks. Please see the dates below for timelines. A few key points:
*We will continue daily meal runs by bus until Tuesday, January 19. At that point, we'll need the buses to run student routes. Grab and Go will then be available DAILY at Stanton from 6:00-7:30AM and Lotus from 8:00-10:00AM. More information on picking up materials coming soon!
*Given the fact that we will still have students learning remotely with the Hybrid plan and we have certainly proven our capacity for remote learning, should the weather get nasty, we will ALL shift to remote learning as our emergency/inclement weather plan for this winter. This is only in place until 1) we are able to have all students back on site and 2) until we formally submit Remote Learning Plan specific to inclement weather in "normal" attendance conditions. As soon as the decision is made to call a weather-related full remote day, I'll notify everyone via email/phone call and will also post on the website. Given this, I'd encourage everyone to watch the weather and leave each day--especially if the weather seems to be getting nasty--ready to work remotely the next day.
