Weekly Family Update 10/12/21

I hope you enjoyed the long weekend! We did lots of learning during Institute Day, and I think EVERYONE was ready for an extra day off on Monday--it's been a very busy start to the school year!

*For families opting in on surveillance testing, if you are ever DON'T get an email with the results,  please email results@ohareclinicallab.com and they will solve the problem.

*We are looking at each and every bus stop and route to make sure we have the most efficient routes with the most flexibility for our staff. Please note that we will be adding more students to each route to decrease the total number of routes. If this change makes you want to drive your child instead, please let us know by calling 847-973-4028 or emailing Andrea DeMatteo at andrea.dematteo@foxlakke114.org

*October 15 is coming quickly! All required vaccinations and physicals MUST be up to date or we will exclude your child. Please click here to review the requirements. Please contact the school nurse with any questions.

Updated School Decision Making Process

Please find linked here the updated guidance on school decision-making related to all things COVID. This is what our nurses follow when making decisions related to each student/staff situation. HOWEVER, please know that our nurses use their clinical judgement on exclusion decisions based on observed trends in our community. The symptom list is not hard and fast, and our nurses do an outstanding job applying all the information they have to make the best decisions possible.
