I hope your Easter/Passover were wonderful if you celebrate either holiday! Spring is here, and we have lots of great activities going on in D114! 

PTA Treasurer Needed!
The PTA is in need of a treasurer for the 2022-2023 school year! Please contact natalie.molidor@foxlake114.org if you are interested or have any questions.
 
Summer School 2022
Be on the lookout for information coming soon for summer programming! 

Registration for 22-23
Registration for the 2022-23 school year will open on Monday, April 25. It will, as always, be done online. We will be using our online residency check program, and we will contact you if we need any additional information. 

Fees for 22-23
School fees are comprised of textbook rentals/usage, instructional materials and technology fees. We are not increasing fees for 22-23.

Remember... you get a $20 per student savings on fees if you complete registration and pay fees on or before June 30, 2022!

Remote Learning Access
To access short term remote learning, students must:
1. Have positive COVID diagnosis, or
2. Be identified as close contact by D114

Situations that do not qualify for remote access:

1. Symptoms in the absence of a COVID diagnosis.
*Students should stay home until symptoms resolve.
*Student will be encouraged to take a COVID test and share results
*COVID testing can be done onsite using O'Hare surveillance weekly testing or Binex Now Rapid with parent/guardian permission.

2. Student identified as close contact with a family member
*Student should stay home and monitor symptoms
*Student will be encouraged to take a COVID test and share results
*COVID testing can be done onsite using SHIELD PCR (once program launches) or Binex Now Rapid with parent/guardian permission.

3. Family vacations.

4. General illnesses.

5. Any other non-COVID related reasons.


Remote Learning Parameters:
Student get “eyes and ears” into the classroom using Google Classroom and Google Meet.
Student is provided at least 5 hours of instruction, of which 2.5 must be synchronous.
Remote access is given 24 hours after notification that a student qualifies.

The PTA would like to invite all D114 Families to join us in our Day of Service on April 30th from 10am-12pm at Stanton. We have multiple projects for families to complete together to give back and show our appreciation to our community!
