5 Essentials Survey--we're almost there!!! YOUR INPUT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please complete the 5Essentials Survey!

The link is on the main district page under the 'Parents' tab. The direct link is: https://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/?target_name=parent

We NEED your participation...we need at least 20% of families to participate in order to get maximum credit from the state...and this impacts our overall school rating. THANK YOU for taking the time to complete the survey!

GRANT PARENT UNIVERSITY

The Parent University session for February will highlight the Career and Technical Education opportunities at Grant High School. Join us Wednesday night at 6:30, February 22, 2023, to hear from industry professionals, Grant students, and Grant teachers. Please pre-register here: https://forms.gle/QZsJfu7cCq4Wnufd6

February is CTE (Career and Technical Education) Month and we are using that to celebrate the opportunities for our students through the CTE department. We encourage every student to go full steam ahead and take advantage of the opportunities available through the CTE department to prepare themselves for the workplace of tomorrow!

Over the past six years, our staff has worked hard to expand access and opportunities for our students to explore their career interests and expand their capacity through rigorous new curricula. In that time, our CTE department has launched courses in entrepreneurship, mobile application design, technology support, engineering, and education.  The expansion in our curriculum has included dual credit courses, internships, and opportunities for students to earn industry credentials.  These changes to our curriculum and our attention to developing career pathways for our students have led to exciting opportunities for our students.

If you would like information about course registration please contact your student’s counselor, or the Divisional Administrator for CTE, Mr. Blair Schoell. He can be reached at bschoell@grantbulldogs.org.
