We are SO excited to meet with you to celebrate student learning and growth at our upcoming Family Conferences!!!
Here's some key information:
If you haven't yet scheduled a conference, please do so! If you need help, contact the school office.
Monday, November 24 is an EARLY RELEASE day so we have a little time before starting conferences.
Tuesday, November 25 is a non-attendance day for students as we do conferences all morning.
We'll all then get to enjoy break for Thanksgiving from Wednesday-Sunday!

Referral GPS--Reminder!
We are committed to creating a culture of well-being of students, staff,
parents, and community. In an effort to continuously support this
commitment, the district has entered an agreement with ReferralGPS.
ReferralGPS is a web-based service focused on assisting our students,
staff, and community in finding local mental-health and substance use
related treatment. The service compliments the districts existing
systems of support as a tool for student service teams and families to
connect with treatment. Along with a searchable database of treatment
options, ReferralGPS provides Care Navigation to assist families in
triage, appointment setting, and follow up care.
School families may access ReferralGPS in two ways:
1) Contact Student Services (social workers, psychologists,
counselors) to seek out treatment options.
2) Visit this link at https://referralgps.com/find-help/D114 to
search for treatment resources or connect with a Care
Navigator anonymously.
ReferralGPS takes into account all types of private and public insurance
including PPO, HMO, Medicaid, Medicare, and families who are
uninsured or underinsured. The platform also filters by age, gender, zip
code, and special requests.
ReferralGPS is available for use by district students, staff, and families at
no cost. All information entered on the ReferralGPS tool is completely
confidential and securely stored.

We love when families come to support events! Please remember, though, that we expect anyone at a D114 event (or at another school where we are competing) to represent our District with pride. Please do NOT:

Absences
Just a reminder that--if a student is absent from school for ANY reason--they are NOT permitted to attend any after school events. If they can't come to school, they should not attend after school events.

We have updated our procedures when students are frequently absent. It's our goal to support students and families in getting to school EACH DAY!

Good morning, District 114!
Conferences start today, so the PTA will be providing dinner for all our amazing teachers and staff tonight. If you signed up to donate drinks or a dessert, please make sure to have them dropped off at the Lotus or Stanton office by 4:30 pm today. Thank you so much for your generosity!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
- Stanton Book Fair
- Monday, December 1st - Saturday, December 6th
- Shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, and 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
- We'll also need volunteers during Santa's Breakfast on Saturday: 8:00 am to 10:00 am, and 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

- Time: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (food will be served till 11:30 am)
- Place: Stanton School
- Breakfast: $7 per adult, $3 per child, D114 students eat free with coupon on flyer
- Printed Photos: $3 each, D114 students get one free printed photo with coupon on flyer
- Flyers will be sent home on Monday after Thanksgiving Break

- We'll be discussing more about Day of Service and a new upcoming family event: Family Bingo Night!

Help us reach our goal of 90+ members this school year! We currently have 79 members, including 39 teachers and staff, and 40 parents/guardians.
Here's what you need to know:
- Dues are $10 for the whole year! That's less than a dollar a month!
