Remote Learning

STUDENT EMAIL REMINDERS

For our 3rd-8th grade students who are now using D114 email addresses, just a few reminders/requests:

*Students should have the camera on in Hangouts/Meets--we like to have face to face contact with you...it's so great to see your faces!
*Students should consistently check their D114 email for information. This means checking Classroom AND your email.
*Students should ONLY use their D114 email when reaching out to teachers.

THANK YOU!!! 💗

OTHER UPDATES:
There was a rumor circulating yesterday that students will be asked to repeat their current grade level next year. This is NOT true. Students will move on, and we will build next year's learning to make sure they are focusing on the most important skills.

We are working to answer all the questions that are out there about the "now what?" since students will not be returning to school this year. I will share information with you just as soon as I can...thanks in advance for being patient as we figure this out!!!

This Week's Spirit Week

Here are this week's Spirit Days!!!!
WOW! Taco Tuesday was a HIT!!!!

Today, share how you make the Earth a better place on World Wednesday!
Thanks to Mrs. Lorenz at Lotus for putting this together. We'll be doing Spirit Weeks every week until we are all back together!!!!

Ongoing Updates
GRAB AND GO
We are now doing Grab and Go on Monday and Thursday mornings ONLY from 7:30-10:00 at Stanton. You can grab "3 for Me" and everything else you need but we also limit how many staff members need to come in and how often we are asking families to come to school. You can still get Chromebooks, school supplies, books, and more. Social distancing is KEY to us getting back to normal!

It is our goal that EVERY student have access to a device and the Internet so they can engage in learning. We know it's hard if there's only one device in your home, so if you need to borrow so everyone can work, please come by Grab and Go on Mondays or Thursdays--we'll have Chromebooks to loan!

IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS A BOOK TO READ...

Mackin is an online free library of books and ebooks, and we have these books until the end of the year!
