While this isn’t the way any of us would have thought we’d start the year...we will be ready and are already excited! It’s going to be a GREAT year!

As we get ready for the year, here are some quick tips for how our families can help support online learning...I know I'm saving this to use at home with our 3 kids all learning remotely!

At last Tuesday night's Board of Education meeting, the Board approved waiving all registration fees for the 2020-21 school year. Any fees that have been paid will be refunded. We will NOT charge fees this year. Given all we are asking of our families, this is a little step we can take to say THANK YOU for your support and doing so much while we are remote and work to open when it is safe to do so.

Please also be sure to check FAST FACTS FOR REMOTE LEARNINGIt will be a living document to add to as we get clearer on details and revise as/when we need to. There's information on school hours, sample student schedules, information on supply lists and MORE. Please review and let me know if you have suggestions for additions or if you have questions.

Remember, the first day of school for K-8 students is Monday, August 24 (full day) and Monday, August 31 for our PreK students (half days).

CAMP DUNCAN PROGRAM DETAILS
Unfortunately, we did not get enough sign ups to make the Innovation Learning program a "go".  The Camp Duncan program IS A GO and the sign up information is here in case you need it!

We're now over 90% registered! Fabulous!!!

We ran the full system residency check last week. If you did not receive a teacher placement/schedule, it was held due to a registration/residency issue.  If you are not registered, your final enrollment and class assignment will be delayed so we can confirm residency.

This will be the last week for Grab and Go meals (Monday and Thursday at Lotus from 7:30-10:00 AM). We have provided THOUSANDS of meals through Grab and Go and our staff has worked and volunteered hundreds of hours to be sure meals were provided non-stop since March. 💗

Starting Monday, August 24, we will deliver meals (breakfast and lunch) daily using bus stops and Lotus stop times. On Fridays, these routes will also deliver materials from teachers if they are needed for each grade level. I'll be sending a daily email reminder with the stop schedule and any other "just in time" news you need. This will replace the Daily Family Update that I did in the spring. The goal is to continue to keep our families informed and connected as well as to provide meals so that is one less thing you have to worry about!
