Remote Learning--More Information
GREAT JOB, EVERYONE on Day 1 of Remote Learning 2.0!!!
Did you know we had classes with 100% of students in attendance!?!?! That is SO COOL!!!!
Let's keep it up...and thank you, families, for all your support of student learning!!!
Let's keep it up...and thank you, families, for all your support of student learning!!!
New choice menus will be mailed out later this week--remember, our goal is that students do BOTH the eLearning their teachers continue to share AND the choice menus if at all possible!
Please know that we will have eLearning ready to do for April 10, which is officially a District holiday for Good Friday. These are optional, but we wanted to make sure to launch the full first week schedule, so we sure hope our students will join us for the Friday tasks if at all possible.
We are here to help...and please DO NOT put too much pressure on yourself or your children. This is new for all of us, and we are SO GRATEFUL to our families 💓
Great Info on COVID-19 and Asthma
We've found awesome information from The Asthma and Allergy Network! Their website that has a TON of simple to understand and useful information regarding COVID-19 in general, but also resources for those with asthma-who are at a much greater risk of contracting and having complications from COVID-19.
Families may also reach our District Nurse, Jessica Lanners, any time at jessica.lanners@foxlake114.org with any specific questions they may have as well.
This Week's Spirit Week
Today is TEAM TUESDAY! Let's see those mascots in your windows!!!

Ongoing Updates
GRAB AND GO
We are now doing Grab and Go on Monday and Thursday mornings ONLY from 7:30-10:00 at Stanton. You can grab "3 for Me" and everything else you need but we also limit how many staff members need to come in and how often we are asking families to come to school. You can still get Chromebooks, school supplies, books, and more. Social distancing is KEY to us getting back to normal!
It is our goal that EVERY student have access to a device and the Internet so they can engage in learning. We know it's hard if there's only one device in your home, so if you need to borrow so everyone can work, please come by Grab and Go on Mondays or Thursdays--we'll have Chromebooks to loan!
CYBER READ ALOUD WITH A NEW READER EACH DAY!
It's going to be a GORGEOUS afternoon!
Close the screens and go outside once Remote Learning is done for the day! Check out this fun spring scavenger hunt...give it a try!
Want more awesome learning ideas? Click here to get to our Family Resources list--we're adding to it daily. And don't forget the D114 Remote Learning Center!
