While I know none of would have picked a full remote plan, I continue to feel confident that it's the best and safest way to open this school year. I know the incredible toll this puts on our families, and for that I am truly sorry. The entire D114 is committed to making Remote Learning successful for ALL, providing rigorous learning daily, making real connections with our students no matter what, and partnering with our families in all ways. We are full steam ahead in making plans that are clear, consistent, and as un-overwhelming as possible.
If you'd like to view the presentation I gave to the Board to see details on the proposal, please click here to view.
As I emailed last week, I'm thrilled to share that Innovation Learning can provide on site supervision/remote learning support to K-8 students as needed for staff and our families. Here is information for the programming planned for the Full Remote Plan:
Registration is now open. Please know that 15 must be enrolled for the program to "go". They are updating me weekly on the count so we can monitor status.
We're now over 85% registered! Fabulous!!!
We are running our system residency report this week. If we find residency issues, we will contact you and work with you to resolve them. If you are not registered, your final enrollment and class assignment will be delayed so we can confirm residency.

UPDATES ON GRAB AND GO
Grab and Go will be continue to be held at LOTUS each Monday and Thursday from 7:30-10:00AM through August 21. Meals will be available for all students during the year, and we are working on details for this. The roof work at Stanton is pretty messy and, since we will be offering meals as part of Summer School at Lotus, it makes sense to relocate all food service to Lotus for the rest of the summer.

SUMMER SMARTIES!
To give our families access to learning tools for summer, a group worked SO HARD to make this page:
It will be updated regularly to keep the learning, review, and extensions happen all summer long!
IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS A BOOK TO READ...
Mackin is an online free library of books and ebooks, and we have these books until the end of the year!
